Busselton, completed in the middle of winter during the night so was very wet and cold.

Based just outside of Busselton, the BMRA expansion project included the lengthening, widening and strengthening of the existing runway and now allows it to cater to direct flights to and from capital cities located on the east coast as well as future direct international flights.

Approximately 105,000m² of runway grooving was completed during the night to ensure flight operations weren’t affected.
